Demolition Derby Car
Friends of the SORT group were a major contributor to car # 718 that was entered in
the figure eight demolition derby at the 1997 Western Fair. Built by Ben
Eden and friends the Pontiac wagon was a major acomplishment. Ben, also the
driver, put much time and effort into finishing the car before the
deadline. Other donations by Grabba Jabba, Centre Stage Productions and
Corey's Auto Wreckers helped to see the project through to its' completion.
As for the final performance......well lets just say that car # 718 tried
its hardest to put in a good showing.
